And so begins the blog…

If you are reading this you have found the blog of two clueless farmers. My husband Mark and I have always had a desire to live on a farm and raise our children (all eleven) on the land but that reality never quite materialized…until 2 years ago. That was when some friends of ours were moving out of state and put their small farm on the market. We weren’t even looking for property at the time but the property seemed to be waiting for us! So in our mid 50s and with most of our children grown we finally began our farming adventure! We have jumped in with both feet and though we are clueless to the ways of farming, we are enjoying the journey. These farm musings will be our way to document this journey in pictures and words…mostly pictures!
